David Harold is a second-generation farmer whose family has been growing crops in the Olathe area for decades. He is involved in the production of Olathe Sweet™ Sweet Corn and works closely with the farming operations that support its growth and harvest each season.

Much of David’s work focuses on improving the long-term sustainability of the farm. He has helped lead efforts to incorporate drip irrigation across the Harold farms, research more environmentally responsible ways to manage pests, and plant beneficial habitat such as zinnias to support pollinators and beneficial insects.

David has also worked to make Tuxedo Corn a participant in the Fair Food Program, reflecting the Harold family’s commitment to responsible labor practices in agriculture.

In addition to field operations, David has helped develop the Tuxedo Corn truck tour and other direct sales efforts that bring Olathe Sweet™ Sweet Corn directly to customers.
